Interesting story today on yahoo… seems someone leaked a private email from Giselle  about her husband Tom Brady who is in the super bowl this Sunday! I love the Superbowl such a great energy of hopefulness so we always have a fun get together!  I LOVE how Giselle is really modeling to all her friends and family to send positive energy for her husband. Best thing any one can do! So although I love New York since I lived there once – I am seeing and feeling a great game with lots of good energy and no matter who wins everyone having fun and JOY!

Let see and feel all that energy being showered on all people everywhere!! Have fun!

Empowered Manifesting Tip #1: Discovering Your “Inner Story”

During a coaching session with Cynthia, we identified some challenges she was experiencing as a Realtor in today’s market.

Like many Realtors, Cynthia was stuck.

She knew she needed to be on the phone, “cold calling” people, but she wasn’t doing it.

We quickly uncovered that Cynthia hated cold calling.

“I do better making connections with people instead of just calling strangers,” she explained.

But was there something else going on with Cynthia? Was she telling herself a story that was secretly sabotaging her success?

We dug a little deeper, and what we discovered was that Cynthia had an “Inner Story” about being lazy.

She believed she was lazy and that’s why she wasn’t getting on the phone and making those calls.

We also found out that even though Cynthia had earned a college degree AND a real estate license, she still had this Inner Story about being lazy that she wasn’t even aware of.

We did an exercise and Cynthia not only dismantled this belief, she also now has a simple system she can use whenever this “Inner Story” pops up again. A system that takes no more than 5 minutes a day!

Here’s the (extremely) abbreviated version of the exercise:

Basically you write down what your goal is and then you write down what your beliefs are serving that goal and what are your beliefs NOT serving that goal.

Then you take the belief that is NOT serving you and your goal, and you come up with a NEW belief that feels better to you, and of course, serves you better. You do this every day until the old limiting belief is totally transformed!

Try it. It really is amazing how this works. This exercise is just a small piece of what you will learn if you are in my next “Living an Empowered Life” Tele-class.

My question is even though I have a business it seems like I am the one that has all the responsibility for Holiday preparation. I find myself saying yes to things and then resenting that I need to do them. then I bear up on my self for over committing or worse I get snarky with my kids and husband, What do you suggest?

Answer:
Elizabeth thank you so much for this question it comes up a lot and I am grateful to share some things that have worked for me.

I remember a few years back a friend of mine said I can't wait till the Holiday time is over I hate it. I asked her why and she said that it was non stop her having to do things she did not want to do or felt she had to do that other people expected of her. I asked her to give me an example and she said well people love my cookies I gave them out as gifts one year and now every year they say hey love to get some of your cookies and I really had fun the first year but now it feels like a drain.

I told her my rule at Holiday time is ONLY do the things I feel good about. When you feel good you send out high vibrations and that will attract more higher vibrations in all ways for you. So think about the task and see how you feel?

If you do not feel a sense of joy or happiness at least a sense of neutral energy when you think about doing it, then for this year just pass on it or at least make an adjustment so it feels a little better to you. This is all about your perception.

Let me give you an example: We always have a fun family day decorating the house, listening to music and putting up a tree. We have a very large and long staircase that looks beautiful with green garland and white lights and I usually coordinate this task.

Most years I love putting it up and I really have great Joy as I do it!  This year every time I thought about that massive staircase and how big it is and putting the garland up I felt a sense of obligation. Everyone tells us how beautiful it looks, but I felt a heavy energy around it. So this year I decided NO garland on the stair case!

It was so freeing and guess what no one even noticed or said anything. My intention is to focus on the things I enjoy and that give me Joy and anything else is open for compromise or even to pass on it.

So make a list of the things you plan to do this Holiday Season and notice any place you have heavier energy. I want to invite you to consider passing on it or adjusting it and enjoying the feeling that comes with lining up with your energy!

Last Saturday night my daughter and I were in the car going to have a special mom and daughter night out for dinner. We found ourselves talking about how many times God has intervened in our lives and how grateful we are. These are not typical conversations with my 14 year old so this was one of those really special moments. Then all sudden pieces of glass flew across the road all over my car from the oncoming traffic lane. I could not comprehend where all this glass was coming from and then time literally stood still.

A deer landed right in front of my car! You could see her head and her beautiful brown eyes. I will never forget it; she was on her back right in front of my car. I locked eyes with this deer and said 'God please help us'! Before my car could hit her and in less than a nanosecond, she flipped over and disappeared! We assume she ran into the woods but we were going so fast we never saw her do that. It was like time stood still. I was going 50 miles an hour and it was pitch black out on a busy country road with no streetlights. I never braked and no one ever stopped. It was like an amazing ballet, but I know it was a miracle! Miracles are happening to us all the time. Later we drove past the scene again. Glass all over the road and no deer any where.

I am grateful for Life and to do the work I am blessed to do. I am grateful for YOU!

Please go tell everyone that you love how grateful you are for them. Take this time to say a prayer with me for all those that seem to be in pain of any kind; mentally, emotionally, physically, or spiritually.

Two weeks earlier my daughter's friend was killed in a car just 2 miles from the road we were on. She was 17 years old, captain of the cheerleading team and a special mentor to my daughter. Alex encouraged her to try out and even though Alex was a senior, she stopped and gave encouragement to a budding 7th grader she cared for. She took the time to offer kind words. She was and now truly is an angel.

We pray for Alex and all who loved her and we pray for you and give thanks for your light on this Earth.

Life is so precious and last weekend we were touched by an angel and given another chance to experience the JOY of living.

Remember Cecily? She had sent in a question about how to have her complimentary coaching sessions be more effective? She told me a sad story of offering 39 complimentary coaching sessions and having just a couple sign up!

Imagine her frustration!

I answered the question a bit on our blog and also then gave Cecily a coaching session to help her learn my Spiritual selling process.
